The side bars of the cot had to be enlarged to make the bed look smaller. I enlarged the canvas size of the image and made a layer of the image. With the Shift key held down I increased the Scale proprtionally. I added a layer Mask and with the Brush tool wiped back the enlarged bed to reveal the original bed, and gradually blended the enlarged layer to the original base image and the cot sides were now enlarged.
