 The eight images had the black shape drawn in. 1-The shape was drawn over the existing object they were looking at on the white board. 2-The couple in the pool were gazing at something in the distance. The eyes had to be altered so as to be looking at the black shape. 3-The girl in the daffodils was holding a bunch of Daffodils that were retouched out and the black shape drawn in. 4- Gold bullion was piled on the trolley. This was removed and the background drawn in and the black shape added to the trolley. 5-The girl holding the drawn in black shape was taking a drink from the chap seated. 6-The doctor is holding a stethoscope, so the black shape was drawn in to cover it and appear behind his hand. 7-The golfer is reaching down to retrieve the ball from the hole. The black shape is drawn in position to cover the hole. 8-The instrument on the stool is covered by the black shape. The shadow cast on the snow from the instrument  is retouched out with Gouache.

In each image, transpaseal is used to mask the appropriate area and the black shape is cut out. Then with a Sable brush, black dye is washed into the print.
