Ufo No Heavy Petting 1976

 A black and white base print of the girl with the monkey montaged in position. Copy print, draw in the tubes by tracing in position, then transpaseal over the whole image and with a scalpel cut the shape of the tubes, then bleaching away to white. With a Sable brush and Photo dye add the moulding to the tube. Remove the transpaseal and airbrush the subtle shadows cast by the tubes and the monkeys feet. Transpaseal over the image again and cut round the girl, monkey and tubes, remove the transpaseal to be able to airbrush the grey background. Remove the remainder of the transpaseal and with a Sable brush and photo dye soften the edges. With a scalpel gently knife around the fur of the monkey and blend the ends of the tubes into the fur. Also add subtle shadows to the neck of the girl to make it appear the tubes have been put into the neck. Add colour to the tubes.
